  1. Thank you for these videos. It makes it so easy to understand what is going on in the brain and why my son (12y/o adder) acts the way he does around video games. This has made me really see the seriousness of it and has inspired me to create restrictions and parameters around it for him. My other children do not behave this way around video games. I am conjecturing, with children like this, there will always be a susceptible to any addictive type behaviors around any substance, and if this is so, you cannot necessarily eliminate all substances from life but rather focus on teaching the discipline and structure around moderation as well as the knowledge of their unique brain wiring and why this is important for them to pay attention to this in their lives always. Creating lifelong habits I guess? Annamarie
